Hey, great honey. We bought two quarts, but wishing we would have bought more. Tastes good in tea, cereals, cooking, whatever. My husband has cancer and we look for organic food for him to eat. Saw you mentioned God and we liked that! If my husband makes it to Spring, we will return to the Naches area to get more honey. May God continue to bless your family and your business to all of us who are interested in living the way God made for us to live.
Do these bees service GMO fields? Or are they contracted to service only organic farms? While visiting WA we picked up a quart and it’s like nothing I’ve ever tasted before here in CA! Amazing but wondering if it’s too good to be true
Sean, I’m so glad that you are enjoying our honey.
I guess good things aren’t always too good to be true! Our honey is produced while pollinating Non GMO raspberries, which are surrounded by Non GMO mint fields which are surrounded by Non GMO sage brush.
🙂
Now, that being said, please do not confuse Non GMO fields with organic ones. While the plants are not genetically modified and we are VERY careful with the lives of our bees, there are times that pesticides are present in the fields.
As much as I truly wish that I could live in an organic bubble, it just isn’t possible at this time.
This is the best honey I have ever had! I am a fan for life!
My brother brought me a jar. I am out and bought something else at the store. It wasn’t even close.
I just found the below post on FB from a global page and gave your website. Many people wanted to know where to get it. I am assuming people who sell it could not make any health benefit claims but with Diabetes being at epidemic proportions, High Fructose corn syrup being in everything mass produced, I would take the liberty of doing this. I hope I can find this honey again. I went to the online store and they are out for the time being. Maybe it is time for you guys to expand. One can hope!
Raw Honey is often referred to as “liquid gold” due to its highly therapeutic antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral, antiseptic, anti-aging and anticancer properties. Raw honey is not filtered, strained, or heated above 115 degrees Fahrenheit and provides far more benefits than regular honey as it is full of active enzymes, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids that are vital for keeping the body health and for preventing illness and disease. Raw honey contains vitamins such as B-complex and Vitamin C as well as minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and zinc. Raw honey has the power to strengthen the immune system, promote digestive health, reduce throat irritation, stabilize blood pressure, calm nerves, relieve morning sickness, balance blood sugar, heal ulcers, purify the blood, fight off colds and flu, soothe sore throats and laryngitis, and flush the kidneys. Raw honey is also great for digestion as it contains probiotics that help to keep the beneficial bacteria in the gut healthy and strong. Raw honey also functions as a expectorant and is known to benefit respiratory conditions such as bronchitis and asthma. Raw honey promotes restorative sleep and can aid in healing and rebuilding the body during the night. Raw Honey is hygroscopic, which means it draws all the moisture out of germs which ultimately kills them. This is why raw honey is an excellent first aid cream and can be applied externally, like a natural neosporin, to cuts, abrasions, rashes, and sores to keep the wounds sterile and quicken the healing process. Consider adding a teaspoon of raw honey to your lemon water and/or herbal tea everyday. It’s provides instant energy and great health benefits which can give you a much needed boost to your daily health routine.
It is a stiff wind today. My bicycle was very slow. But post ride ceremony of replenishing glocose was a surprise. Earlier today, I stopped by Wenas Feed in Selah and purchased two pints of you liquid gold. Was I pleasantly surprised. The best honey of my aging life.
I have been purchasing your honey for several months (at PCC). In the past your honey has always been crystalized solid. I know this is one indication that it is truly un-heated. Now, when I go to PCC your honey is completely liquid and much darker. Does this mean your new batch of honey has been heated to a higher temperature than usual?
Thank you for making great un-heated honey. John
All of our honey leaves our facility liquid, the reason for it crystallizing is the time and temperature in the warehouse.
Our honey is exposed to heat minimally. A hot knife cuts the wax off of the comb and it passes through 2 warmed separating tanks before it is put into barrels. It then sits until needed to fill orders. We have blanket heaters that are then used to warm the honey back to a liquid state. And lastly, once bottled, the honey will sit in a warm room until it is shipped to the warehouse for distribution. All of the heating we do, tanks, barrel warmers and the warm room are all kept at around 95 degrees. We choose that particular temperature because a healthy beehive maintains itself between 90 and 95 degrees. We figure the bees probably know the ideal temperature to store honey😉
As to the color, it varies from barrel to barrel because we do NOT put everything into one big HEATED vat and homogenize it. All of our bees are exposed to the same basic floral varieties but even a short distance can make a big difference in the honey harvested from each box.
I hope I’ve answered your questions 😆
Merry Christmas!
Howdy! I’ve been buying your honey for years to help to help with seasonal allergies and Overall well being!!! I was wondering if you had bee pollen to purchase?! I’ve recently started consuming it and would LOVE a local option!!
